I do not know about you, but I hate opening the same application over and over especially when I use telnet or ssh. I finally found the ssh/telnet client you need -- Poderosa. Poderosa makes life easier to open multiple connections at the same time. Moreover, you can split the window into panes and allocate each connection. Many different ways to connect. In addition to Telnet and SSH1/2, local cygwin shell and serial ports are supported. There is no comparison to putty ot tera term -- this should be your client of choice.
